self care *ick*
Prompt today: what steps can you take to create a peaceful space at home to feel calm and recharge?
I haven’t been at home since 5.15, so I cannot even really remember. JK I do remember what my house looks like, but what is feels like is a little fuzzy to me. I do several things that make me feel peaceful at home: I try to sweep/mop every other day. I vacuum at least once a day. Before I go to bed I clean, and sanitize all my kitchen counters. I like to light candles, and I am finally making my home cute. I like petting my dog when I get freaked out. I am slowly trying to make my home cute/comfy, but it’s hard sometimes. Step that can make me create a more peaceful space is to have a routine cleaning schedule. I cannot really feel peaceful, or relaxed if my home doesn’t feel clean/smells good. The barrier for me is that sometimes I am so unmotivated, like I cannot even really feed myself, and I have zero will to do anything productive.
I cannot wait to be in my home that smells like me, and not leave unless I have to…only 2 more sleeps!
